We are a couture design company, specializing in creating and styling exclusive event stationery such as invitations, menus, programmes, gift tags, thank-you cards, save-the-date-cards, paper art for special occasions such as weddings, 21st birthdays, wedding anniversaries, birth announcements and personalised stationery.

In our collection we use the finest papers, ribbons, and delicate materials from around the world to create a wonderful mix of patterns, innovative designs, textures and colors to complement your celebration. We offer an endless palette of retro, vintage, minimalist and traditional styles – breaking away from the common and conventional. We pride ourselves on excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail and innovative designs that reflect our passion for personalised products.

We create contemporary and traditional designs to suit every personality and pocket - each invitation being truly different. Your invitation is the first glimpse your guests will have of your wedding, celebration or corporate event - creating a sense of anticipation and a peek of the festivities to come. Invitations also convey to your guests the type of celebration you are planning, whether glamorous or contemporary, elegant or simple. It is also your signature, reflecting your style and personality.

At Elsje Designs anything is possible and the gallery of past collaborations reveals the creativity and passion we bring to every piece of paper. Whether you ask us to use an existing design as a creative starting point or to imagine your invitation, wedding day stationery and table gifts, or celebration or corporate event from scratch, each element will be carefully considered in light of your vision of the event. The result will be a creation that is uniquely, unquestionably, yours.

Designed through careful consultation with the client, we ensure that your stationery reflects you as an individual. This process works best if you visit our studio. We, however, understand that time is precious and after this initial consultation the follow-up presentations can be conducted via e-mail.

Elsje Designs combines efforts with Gifts 4 Guests, which fashions favours (special small table gifts for your guests) for celebrations. We work from the same premises.

Working with our talented team of designers results in a package unique to you. An array of tasteful details, rare papers and carefully chosen ink colours combine to create the perfect first impression.

Celebrations
With “celebrations” we mean all the festivities and joyous moments which makes life and family gatherings so worthwhile such as christenings, birthdays including important milestone birthdays (each decade), 21st year coming-of-age celebrations, silver and golden anniversaries and any special family celebration.

The same close collaboration and attention to detail which typifies the work which we do for weddings typify these events.

Corporate
We also do corporate work such as designing logos, business cards, annual year books, brochures, posters, invitations to product launches and year-end functions. Most companies nowadays realize the value of creating a strong identity. More companies, including small and medium businesses, are acknowledging the role of superb graphic designs and ensuring that the viewer experiences an emotional connection with your business.

We pride ourselves in being able to create fresh graphic designs which capture the identities of our corporate clients.

Wedding Styling
We also style weddings as important events. Brides consult us on the look and feel of their weddings. Elsje will style the event while Annemie provides consulting services about how to execute the style. If you are a young bride who wishes to contain costs and who will do most of the coordination work of getting certain suppliers (e.g. the flowers, the caterers, the wedding cake) and do some of the actual production work yourself – “with a little bit of help from your friends” - you will find our approach of special interest.

Décor Styling
We offer décor styling services to two home owners per month – in a manner which contains costs and which clients value. We style an existing home in close consultation with our client and provide advice on materials and fittings. To contain costs much of the work is done by the client. We provide honest advice at an agreed fee and do not take any commissions from the suppliers of décor items. Our clients know we have their decorating and financial interests at heart.
